Robert doubles as a management strategy consultant and an expert in how to digitally produce, distribute and market content. He has been involved in several successful web start-ups, as well as transactions in the tech and media sector. In Robert’s previous career as an award-winning journalist, he worked for major media outlets in Germany, France and the U.S. Robert holds graduate degrees from Munich University and Harvard University.

Rupert has more than ten years of experience in the fields of consumer Internet and media. Rupert previously worked at Hubert Burda Media, where he managed a portfolio of successful investments. He was also the long-time producer of Europe’s leading Digital Zeitgeist conference, DLD (Digital, Life, Design). Rupert has founded several companies and is an active seed investor. Rupert holds an MBA from the Munich Business School.
Dr. Rolf Illenberger
Rolf’s expertise evolves from his profound experience in strategy and business. After many years in management consulting, he joined ProSiebenSat.1 as Managing Director and COO of their digital subsidiary where he headed the Business Development unit and led several intrapreneurial start-ups as well as large scale transactions. Rolf holds a PhD in Media Management from the University of Mainz and an MBA from Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL).

We love to help people help themselves. A special component of our service portfolio is the Nunatak Academy: in cooperation with creative minds from the digital industry, we train managers in digital trends and business models. With targeted workshops, participants interactively experience the most relevant digital topics in a real-life context and learn to apply these to their markets.
Through one- or two-day digital boot camps we expose managers to the latest trends and changes in their industry, including in big data analytics, virtual reality, social media advertising, digital video, mobile application development, crowd funding, three-dimensional printing and wearable technology. We translate these developments into each client’s context and require participants to develop practical solutions rather than lecturing them.
The Nunatak Group and the Bertelsmann University developed this training concept jointly; over 150 top executives from one of the world’s largest media conglomerates have already participated. Their enthusiastic feedback has encouraged us to advance the idea further. Similar formats have since been carried out with Pro7Sat1 Media AG, Red Bull GmbH and Deutsche Telekom AG.
