Robert doubles as a management strategy consultant and an expert in how to digitally produce, distribute and market content. An experienced project manager, he has been involved in several successful web start-ups, as well as national and international transactions in the tech and media sector. In Robert’s previous career as an award-winning journalist, he worked for major media outlets in Germany, France and the U.S. Robert holds graduate degrees from Munich University, where he teaches a class in Media Management, and Harvard University, where he attended classes by Michael Porter, one of the world’s leading authorities on business strategy. At The Nunatak Group, he is in charge of finances, processes and operations.
Rupert has more than ten years of experience in the fields of consumer Internet and media and is an experienced player in the strategic management, start-up and venture capital fields. Rupert previously worked at Hubert Burda Media, where he managed a portfolio of successful investments, including Glam and Mydeco. He was also the long-time producer of Europe’s leading Digital Zeitgeist conference, DLD (Digital, Life, Design). Rupert has successfully completed various digital projects for both national and international clients, has founded several companies and is an active seed investor. Rupert holds an MBA from the Munich Business School. At The Nunatak Group, he is in charge of recruiting, IT and marketing.
